Members need to be at least 18 years of age.
If a member has Medicaid coverage, then Medicaid pays for the services provided. Adventure House also receives state funding for those that do not have Medicaid. No member will be turned away due to the inability to pay for services.
Adventure House is a day program and no one actually lives at the Clubhouse.
Participation and attendance at Adventure House is voluntary. Members are not paid for the work that they do at the Clubhouse. However, there are paid employment opportunities through the transitional employment program.
We currently have 29 apartment units with a waiting list of active members wanting an apartment. Applications for housing are available at the Clubhouse.
For members who need transportation to and from the Clubhouse it can be provided by TACC, a countywide transportation system. The Clubhouse can arrange transportation.
Adventure House provides opportunities for members to work part-time through our Transitional Employment Program.
Adventure House is open from 8am to 3pm, Monday through Friday. The Clubhouse is open for social and recreational activities on some evenings and weekends.
